Dr. Alise Beccaria earned both her Master of Science and Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Her extensive education included more than 3,500 hours of training in acupuncture techniques, diagnosis and treatment, Chinese medicine theory, and Western medical sciences. Prior to pursuing her career in acupuncture, Dr. Beccaria earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Albany in Albany, New York.

Dr. Beccaria is licensed to practice acupuncture by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board and is nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has also completed Level 1 Acupuncture for Cancer Patients training through the Integrative Medicine Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

In addition to traditional acupuncture, Dr. Beccaria incorporates dry needling and other therapeutic techniques into her practice, tailoring treatment to the individual needs of each patient. As a yoga instructor, she also has a deep appreciation for movement, body awareness, and the connection between physical and emotional well-being.

Dr. Beccaria is a credentialed provider for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network through Optum, providing acupuncture services to eligible veterans in her community. She is deeply committed to serving those who have served and considers caring for veterans an especially meaningful part of her practice.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Beccaria enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, staying active, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, life with her dog, Liam.
